Tania Camille Nasser is a photographer and filmmaker from Los Angeles, California. She was a Norman Topping scholar at the University of Southern California, where she graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2008. Currently, Tania is an M.F.A. candidate in Photography, Video, and Media at the School of Visual Arts, class of 2011.
Tania photographs urban American social issues, particularly focusing on with women and african American Issues. She is a recipient of the 2010 Aaron Siskind foundation memorial Scholarship at the School of Visual Arts.
In 2010, Tania was awarded Best Fine Art Image at the New York Photo Awards for work from her book Around the Way Girls.
Tania has completed internships in photography and film, including with Annie Leibovitz Studio, David Lachapelle Studio, Vanity Fair Magazine, and Ridley Scott Films.
